The 14th Party Central Committee of Vietnam has commenced its third meeting in Hà Nội, led by Party General Secretary and State President Tô Lâm. This five-day session is dedicated to executing the resolutions from the 14th National Party Congress, enhancing Party governance, reforming the political system, and pushing forward national development.
The committee is evaluating 13 key policy areas that include state governance enhancements, land law reforms, economic restructuring, and fostering growth through technology. Other focuses include environmental protection and ensuring national security. The discussions also encompass the evaluation of the new political system’s performance, the two-tier local administration model, and considerations to recognize Quảng Ninh and Bắc Ninh as centrally governed cities.
Tô Lâm has urged the adoption of practical, action-driven resolutions aimed at eliminating development obstacles, unlocking national resources, and improving public services. He stressed the importance of swiftly translating resolutions into detailed implementation plans, complete with clear responsibilities, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
Within the session, the emphasis is on making decisive choices that will directly impact the country’s progress. The focus is on adopting strategies that will not only address current challenges but also lay a foundation for sustained growth and resilience in the future.
